Junior (ages 18 – 21)
The Junior program begins in late August. Date is dependant on whether you are participating in Single Letter or Double Letter camps. Single letters is the Recreation program and Double letters is the Competitive program. Please note that all Junior teams are limited to a maximum of 4 - 21 year old players. Over the last couple of years our enrollment in the Junior division has been increasing steadily. Typically we anticipate receiving more registrations than there are places available: If you are NOT prepared to commit to playing all scheduled games, please reconsider your registration to leave a place to someone who is willing to make a commitment for the full season.
In the junior division Lakeshore Minor Hockey has 1 DL team and it is at the JR AA level. The Evaluations and Team Formation Process begins mid-August. The JR AA team is typically on the ice an average of 1-3 times per week and a firm commitment is required for all sessions. There are also additional fees for the double letter competitive program.
Beginning early to mid September, the JR AA letter team begins a 24 game schedule against all other teams in the Lac St Louis region.

For the Recreation program, teams are formed and classified in A or B depending mainly on the caliber of the players.
Beginning early October, the teams will then compete in the Lac St Louis Hockey League which includes teams from all over the Lac St Louis region.
The Single letter teams are usually on the ice an average of 1 -2 times per week. This could be on weekends or weeknights and varies week to week.
Each team will play 24 games as well as receive 2 practices per month from Lakeshore. In some cases depending on the coaching staff and parents, teams may purchase additional practice times as well as participate in tournaments which will increase the frequency of their weekly activities.
As hockey is a team sport please note that players are expected to be at both practices and games. An odd absence is acceptable providing that the coach is advised but the player is expected to attend all team sessions so as not to penalize the team.
