Lakeshore Hockey Remains on Pause

Dear Members,

We hope everyone is doing well and staying safe.

We understand that everyone is anxious for hockey to return, we are all looking forward to getting some news and a statement of direction from the regulatory bodies.

In the current context of the COVID 19 government restrictions, we remain on pause until at least the 8th of February 2021. Thereafter we will be reviewing what options are afforded to LMHF with regards to the remainder of the 2020 - 2021 hockey season. In the event that it is not possible to have any activities at all for the 2020 - 2021 season then LMHF will be providing refund options to its members.

Currently Hockey Quebec has not formally cancelled the hockey season and therefore we need to wait on a decision before looking at refunds for 2020-21 hockey season or credit towards the 2021-2022 hockey season registration (for those interested). It is important to understand that there are administration and insurance fees associated with registration fees and consequently that would need to be accounted for in a prorated format for any refund or credit amount. We expect to have those fees from Hockey Quebec once an announcement is made on the balance of the season

We thank you for your patience , understanding and support during these unusual times and hope to see hockey return in 2021 whether it is for the 2020-21 or 2021-22 season.

The good news is that we can start to see a light at the end of the tunnel with the advent of the vaccine, so lets remain positive. Keep safe, keep social distance, keep wearing a mask, wash your hands often until then and most important stay in touch with other members as everyone's mental wellbeing is also important.
