LMHF is opening the registration for its double letter teams camps from U13 to U18

In order to participate in the respective camps members or a parent / guardian will be required to present themselves ahead of time at the Lakeshore Hockey office at  16793 Hymus Blvd in Kirkland on Saturday August 28th between 9am and 12pm (noon). Please note that there is a limited amount of people that can be in the at office at one time therefore you may need to wait outside as registration for other members if being processed.

We ask everyone to be patient and be understanding, any berating of volunteers or other members will not be tolerated and subject to refusal by LMHF of member registration in double letter camps.

If we do not have time to process all the member registration we will schedule another in person session in the days following Saturday August 28th.

The cost for the initial double letter camps will be $175.00 per player and is non-refundable. Payment will need to be done in person at registration as per stipulated dates and not during on-ice activities, only cash or cheque will be accepted, note it is preferable to make payment cash (exact amount) as confirmation of cheque being processed and accepted by the bank is required prior to being allowed to join on-ice activities.

CONDITIONS

All activities will be in accordance to Hockey Quebec rules and guidelines for the specific phase in force during a given period. Consult the main page of our website to know which phase is in effect https://www.lmhf.qc.ca/en/index.html.

All members must have paid their full basic season registration fees of $575.00 without any outstanding amount due, regardless of partial credits on file.

All members wanting to participate in camps for U15 and 18 must have proof of double vaccination in digital or paper format. Need to be shown at time of registration, a parent or legal guardian can show the proof associated to the member in lieu of member being physically present.

Any member contracting COVID during camp shall be excluded from all activities for the quarantine period prescribe by the Quebec Health Authorities. This may impact evaluation and placement of the member.

The number of teams at each level will depend on the total number of registered members for the upcoming season in each level and based on the Hockey Quebec Administrative rules that can be consulted on the Hockey Quebec website. This means LMHF may or may not have both AA and BB teams in each level (U13 to U18).

The minimum sessions schedule for each level (U13 to U18) will be 5 of 60 or 90 minutes each, which will be a mix of technical sessions for both players & goalies and intra-squad games. The planed on-ice start date is as early as Saturday September4th and onward. There will be no make-up session permitted for players who cannot attend a specific session, if there are exceptional cases or circumstances they will need to be submitted to the President and Vice-President of LMHF for consideration. After the initial 5 scheduled sessions players maybe released from the double letter camp and asked to join single letter camp.

Important reminder that members participating in double letter camp and released to single letter are not guaranteed a position in a specific category for a level (U13 to U18) given not all players wish to participate in double letter camps. It’s an open camp without pre-selection process therefore as per the LMHF official refund policy, no member will be granted a season basic registration fee refund because they do not accept their release to another category. Equally LMHF will not process a transfer to another minor hockey association for the same justification, only exceptional circumstances could be the subject of a review and approval, such as another minor hockey association offering a category in a level which LMHF does not.
